Lifting systems in place for Marine Harvest
NEWCo has completed works for Marine Harvest at its Lochailort Hatchery site.
The firm surveyed and designed a safe lifting system capable of removing and replacing submersible pumps with their effluent plant. This involved designing two bespoke jib cranes which were fabricated in the NEWCo workshop. The vertical hinge arrangement was machined in NEWCo’s in-house CNC Machine Shop.
Both cranes were installed in a six hour window at the plant including the SWL Load Test.
